Belinda Coates is a globally recognised business strategist and thought leader, working with organisations across Australia and the United Kingdom to drive sustainable growth, cultural transformation and international expansion. She is known for helping leadership teams rethink strategy through the lenses of brand, culture, people and market positioning, which enables businesses to scale with clarity and purpose.

Through Harper B, Belinda partners with founders, CEOs, boards and executive teams to design and deliver growth strategies in complex commercial environments. Her work spans professional services, property, construction and the built environment, with a focus on organisations navigating inflection points including expansion, repositioning, acquisition and leadership transition.

Belinda is also the creator and host of The Connector, a global platform bringing together senior leaders, investors and policymakers to explore the future of cities, infrastructure and leadership. Through curated conversations, she connects people, ideas and opportunities across Australia, the UK and beyond.

With a background as a Chief Executive and senior executive in leading professional services firms, Belinda brings real-world operating experience to her advisory work. As CEO of ADP Consulting, she led a period of rapid growth and international expansion, alongside a major brand and cultural transformation, positioning the business for successful acquisition.

Earlier in her career, Belinda held senior roles with HASSELL, Woods Bagot, Maddocks and Slattery, building deep expertise at the intersection of strategy, clients, brand and culture.

She currently serves as a Non-Executive Director of Storey Residential, reflecting her commitment to governance, long-term value creation and social impact.

Belinda is recognised for her global network, market insight and ability to translate strategy into action, shaping conversations on leadership, growth and the future of the built environment.

James Fleming is an internationally respected financial services leader with more than three decades of experience across private banking, wealth management and family office advisory.

He has held senior executive and board roles at leading global institutions including Hambros Bank, SG Hambros, Coutts & Co and Arbuthnot Latham, where he served as Chief Executive Officer and later Vice Chairman. He also led the multi-family office Sandaire through its strategic development and sale to Schroders.

At Harper B, James advises clients at Board level on capital strategy, market expansion and risk, bringing deep expertise in governance, fiduciary oversight and capital stewardship within complex, highly regulated environments.

He also supports Harper B’s strategic investment advisory work, with a focus on connecting global capital to city-shaping projects and facilitating investment across Australia and the United Kingdom.

James’ experience working with institutional investors, private capital and internationally mobile families positions him at the forefront of global capital flows and the evolving relationship between investment and the built environment.
